Suns Team Report (Yahoo! Sports)

Phoenix used to be the NBA city where opponents would defrost by the pool, enjoy a few days of sunshine and take their 20-point whipping at the Suns in stride.

No more. Now the visiting teams are collecting wins along with their tans. And it's not just the big boys who are knocking the Suns around. Two days after the Sixers completed their sweep of Phoenix, the Suns came home and allowed Charlotte to do the same.

The game was within the reach of the Suns down the stretch—the 16th and final Phoenix 3-pointer by Steve Nash pulled Phoenix within three points of Charlotte with 3:03 left—but that was the last point the Suns would score in a 114-107 defeat.

"We have to do better at finishing games," Phoenix coach Alvin Gentry.
