On Friday the New Jersey Nets achieved something that every basketball fan wants to see: consecutive wins. In fact, the victory against the Detroit Pistons was the team's 12th, which tied its last season wins record. The team was perfect in the fourth quarter, making six out its first seven shots and expanding the lead to 17 points with five minutes to go in the game. Detroit could never catch up. Returning from an injury, Nets shooting guard Anthony Morrow scored all of his 10 points in a decisive second-half run.
