First person resident reaction: Miami's Heat check in Florida (Associated Content)

Torn asunder were the fans of Cleveland in the summer of 2010, and the nation assumed that LeBron James' fan base would immediately spring up in a new location: Florida. When the Miami Heat sold out their home season tickets just hours after opening sales, it seemed to outsiders that Ohio's love for James had, in fact, already diffused to the Sunshine State. Many labeled Floridians band wagoners, but not all of us were so accepting of the team re-built on disloyalty.
