After securing big wins over the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Antonio Spurs, the Miami Heat suffered a 96-85 home loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 16. The Heat have split their season series with the Thunder, winning the first encounter between the two teams on January 30. The entire "big three" for the Heat struggled badly against the Thunder defense, which has been bolstered by the addition of Kendrick Perkins. LeBron James struggled during the March 16 encounter with the Thunder, going 8-for-21 from the field.
