So far, the Bulls have met every challenge on their climb to the top of the Eastern Conference standings.

Memphis built confidence by winning at Boston on Wednesday and gave the Bulls a tough fight at the United Center on Friday. The Bulls pulled out a 99-96 victory over the Grizzlies, then found out their lead in the East had grown to two games over Boston, which lost another home game to Charlotte.

After sprinting to a couple of easy wins against Sacramento and Atlanta earlier this week, the Bulls were able to handle a more physical, slow-paced contest against Memphis.

"We're used to games like this now. They want to be physical, we can be physical," forward Taj Gibson said.
