The Rockets had returned to Toyota Center for a four-game homestand, hoping the time at home would help turn things around.

There was little reason to think that way. They have been better on the road, where they have beaten Boston, Atlanta, Utah and Denver in recent weeks, than at home. Among Western Conference teams, only Minnesota and Sacramento have fewer home wins.

With their latest home loss, Saturday against Dallas, the Rockets fell to 4-7 in Toyota Center in January and February, and just 14-12 at home overall.

"I just think we've had a very difficult time winning at home against good teams," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. "It's as simple as that. They come in, they play well and we haven't finished very well."
