As you may have heard, Carmelo Anthony is now a New York Knick. That means the NBA's biggest fan base and the Big Apple media has new superstar to be giddy and gush about, and that the Knicks have their eye on the future. What else it means remains to be seen. So what does it mean for the Chicago Bulls, whom, as you have also already read, would be playing the Knicks if the playoffs started today? As far as this fan can tell, it means little now, although the Bulls - and the rest of the East - might have something to worry about a down the road.
