Mavs guard Jones has surgery on right foot (AP)

Dallas Mavericks rookie guard Dominique Jones has undergone surgery for a stress fracture in his right foot. The surgery was done Friday, and the team said there is no timetable for his return. In 18 games for the Mavericks, Jones averaged 2.3 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists while playing about 7 1/2 minutes per game.
