Jrue Holiday wasn't picked to the rookie/sophomore game as a first-year player. But he made it this year and is eagerly anticipating Friday night's game in Los Angeles, which just happens to be his hometown.

"I'm blessed to be a part of the All-Star festivities," said Holiday, who is the Sixers' only representative at All-Star weekend. "For the first one to be at home, I'm ecstatic."

With Tyreke Evans on the sophomore roster and a rookie group featuring John Wall and Blake Griffin, Holiday figures there are plenty of guys who want to put on a show. That's not his first priority—or his style.

"I know everybody out there is going to try to be MVP," he said. "I just want to have fun and experience it."
