Former Suns VP of basketball operations David Griffin turned down the Denver Nuggets general manager position, according to multiple reports. The Arizona Republic reports Denver is likely to hire Toronto assistant GM Masai Ujiri. ESPN reports that one issue was the actual authority of the next Nuggets GM. Josh Kroenke, the son of owner Stan Kroenke, has a prominent voice in the franchise. The same can be said for Stan Kroenke's adviser, Bret Bearup.
