The Spurs didn't expect a cakewalk with Memphis, and it's been anything but two games into the first-round series. San Antonio did get back into the best-of-seven by winning Game 2, edging the No. 8 seed on Wednesday night.

Struggling against a lesser seed isn't anything to be ashamed of, according to San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich, especially in the Western Conference.

"It doesn't matter who you get in the West, as far as playoff positioning is concerned," Popovich said. "It's going to be tough for everybody, it's going to be like that for a while."

The series now heads to Memphis for the next two games on Saturday and Sunday. The two Southwest Division rivals head back to San Antonio next Sunday in Game 5.
